You don’t know someone until you live with them.

Do you remember when you were first living together (yes, shacking) or  first got married?  One day you woke up and realized that you ONLY thought that you KNEW this person.

Multigenerational living is the same thing, but on steroids!  Your parent(s) thinks that they know  you – but that was the “old” you – when you were a kid, teenager or young adult.

You think that you know your parent(s) but that was earlier in their life when everything was different.

What has been the most shocking or startling thing you’ve learned about the people in your multigenerational nest?
